Nabors Graduated in December 2006. Sun, 14 Jan 2007 - Book about Nabors - Hy writes a book from Nabors' point of view. Located on Shutterfly, give it a minute to load. Sat, 13 Jan 2007, Hy writes - “Nabors” is my third Guide Dog—my first boy. In fact, his temperament reminds me a lot of my first Guide Dog, “Layla”. I feel so blessed to have him in my life. He is a very sweet, kind, gentle dog, with a dash of spice. He’s very laid back, most of the time. Sometimes, however, he’ll get very playful when he’s not working, wanting to play tug or for me to through his Kong. While he’s a wonderful companion, he’s an excellent guide! When working the streets, he’s a speed demon, being very careful not to run me into anything. Inside, he goes slow and very carefully weaving through the crowds. Once in a while, his nose gets him into a little mischief. He just can’t resist that interesting smell next to the tree. He is such a delight, and I look forward to many happy and safe years with him by my side. |
